Oh What A Night!

Friday, April 11th, 2008

Last night was a blast. Not only did Orange Element take home 5 Addys, including two Gold Addys, we also found out that one of our entries, Matt Mendelsohn promotional kit, won another Gold at the AAF District 2 competition! This means that it will automatically move on to the National competition!

We had a ton of fun last night - both at the show and at the after party at Lemongrass in Baltimore. Here are some pictures of our crew. Enjoy!

Sustainable Design

Wednesday, March 5th, 2008

EJ Hall, of Orange Element, met with Environmental consultant, Derek Smith, and Edith Graves and Becky Eason, both members of Eason Associates, in DC today to discuss recommendations as Orange Element continues further focus of our own sustainable initiatives. More info to come on this meeting….including a list of sustainable resource links. A big thank you to EJ, Eason Associates and Derek Smith.

In the meantime, check out and read about greenstock: http://sustainability.aiga.org

Happy Monday, everyone. I just wanted to pass along a video that was recently recorded for Baltimore’s Urban Forest Project, which I previously wrote about here. Nice job, Aaron.

Orange Element Goes Golfing

Tuesday, November 13th, 2007

The team here at Orange Element took some time out of the office a few days ago to do some research for a new client of ours in the golf industry. It was probably the most fun we’ve ever had doing research, because this research involved 18 holes of golf at one of the Middle Atlantic’s finest public golf courses, Queenstown Harbor.

We played a full round at The River Course at Queenstown Harbor and enjoyed it immensely. Just in case you were curious about our ‘process’ for this research, here are some pictures of our outing:

We want to send a special thanks to the team out at Queenstown Harbor for making our day so enjoyable. I am sure we’ll be back to visit again soon when the weather turns…
