Next weekend is the 2nd Annual Annapolis Diamond Dash! Couples race around the city on a scavenger hunt, with the help of clues sent to their mobile phone.  Teams go from location to location and win points.

A New School for Design in Baltimore

A New School for Design in Baltimore

Starting this fall, Baltimore Design School will open its doors to the youth of Baltimore. This new public school for middle to high school students will focus on Fashion Design, Architecture, and Graphic Design. The school aims to provide a strong balanced curriculum of general core classes as well as the design foundations.

  The Lanvale Supportive Housing Group provides temporary homes and rehabilitation programs to help low-income families of Baltimore City get back on their feet. Lanvale, located on 1600 Rutland Avenue, used to be an elementary school and was converted into subsidized housing in 1988.

  The Baltimore Green Currency Association has been working to design and print BNotes—a new and exciting way to support local commerce. In the Spring of this year, through fund-raising, the BGCA were able to print enough $1.00 and $5.00 bills to make a strong local currency.
