Water with Pulp

Everyone knows that the energy and resources associated with producing plastic water bottles is a taxing process on the environment. According to the Huffington Post, 60 million plastic bottles are thrown out everyday in the U.S. While refillable bottles are the preferred environmentally friendly choice, I still don’t know anyone who carries one at all times or hasn’t been caught without one when all they needed was a drink of water. Here are two examples how our friend paper is making its way into the market space. Long live the paper mills!

The second is the 360 Paper Bottle created by the Cincinnati firm BrandImage. It is made of bamboo and balm leaf sheets. While it is still in the concept phase, and not yet on the market, the closure and shipping system is pretty savvy.
