Happy Friday once again. This morning our good friend and talented designer, Beth Brady, passed on a link to the World Trade Center Logo Preservation Project. It is unlikely for any of us to forget that one day eight years ago, just ask the next person you see and chances are they can recount the exact activity they were doing when they heard the hard-to-believe news. In New York, however, people are reminded of the “mark” that day left on our society just about every where they look.

After 9/11, New York designer Ji Lee launched a project to photograph and archive the many logos around the city containing the New York Skyline. Like the historic landmark, he notes that many of these logos will be lost as time progresses and small businesses close.
Above are just a few from his collection. The entire collection can be viewed at wtclogo.com
He welcomes participation and any photos can be sent to JiLee@Pleaseenjoy.com.
