Economic Stimulus Logo

If you have been to the official website for the US American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, Recovery.gov, then you may have noticed a fancy new logo! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the site, it’s purposes are:
1. Education: Explain the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act;
2.Transparency: Show how, when, and where the money is spent;
3. Accountability: Provide data that will allow citizens to evaluate the Act’s progress and provide feedback.
Government websites don’t often pay much attention to their branding, but
Recovery.gov is definitely starting to do that. In the new Recovery logo, the priorities of sustainability and creating jobs, specifically in manufacturing, are represented below the American Flag by sprouting leaves and a set of gears. We think the logo is working pretty well–what do you think? Let us know in the comments!
