Help Solve The Mystery

One of Orange Element’s designers, the fabulous Sarah Rosenthal, blogged this morning about a little alien robot dude she saw on the street at the corner of Light Street & Key Highway right near the Maryland Science Center here in Baltimore. Apparently, there have been sightings in Philly too.

Does anyone know the story behind this? Is it some new guerilla marketing campaign? A joke? Maybe it’s a sign from another world letting us know we’re about to get some visitors. Mysteries are fun.

These are all over mt. vernon and charles village too. There is a street light with a portion covered by little foam cutouts of these in front of AVAM also. I’ve never seen any other tag associated with it, like a name or any sort of text. Its worth submitting to http://www.woostercollective.com to try to figure it out.

Could be inspired by the book Flat Stanley. He was photographed all over the world.
