The Greenest of Green Golf Tournaments

Aaron, Caroline and I played in a great golf tournament yesterday to benefit The Brick Companies Foundation out at Queenstown Harbor, just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.  As I’ve mentioned a few times, we’re the design + communications firm for The Brick Companies, which means we had the opportunity to produce the marketing materials for the tournament.  We were also proud to be sponsors of the tournament, which raised close to $100,000 (I don’t have an exact figure yet) for charities such as Hospice of the Chesapeake, the Boys and Girls Club, Childrens National Medical Center and more.  Here was the ad we ran in the program book:

The tournament was amazing.  Kudos to the entire group of staff and volunteers that put it all together.  This year’s tournament was special for many reasons, not the least of which is that it was as sustainable as golf tournaments get.  Want to know just how green the tournament was?  Check out Lex Birney, CEO of The Brick Companies talking about it on Good Morning Maryland:

The golf tournament invitation cards that we designed also made a guest appearance in the interview!
