We just had our most recent version of Font Hour here at OE and I wanted to share the news. Those of you who don’t recall Font Hour, can go HERE to check out a recap of the prior Font Hour.
This time, we had some really stiff competition. Among the potential new fonts that we were considering purchasing were:
FP Head
Wrongway
Vista
Gagarin
Goldenbook
This month’s winner: WRONGWAY. A quick sample is below.
Check out more about this sweet font and the shop that created it HERE.

Now also known as Mullet, as Bonner proclaimed.
Party at the top, business at the baseline.
I had typed half my message, went to Merriam-Webster, came back and got the blank again; I protest.
Dearest Aaron and Caroline (and the Orange-Element Design Group)
I like “Wrongway.” It is right for you; it is clean and lovely.
I say also, however, that the name “Goldenbook” was so compelling to me.
Lastly, from a point of view recollecting the past, I would pick “Vista” which reminds me of my youth very long ago. In School Number Seven in YONKERS (ha!) I remember being enthralled with writing my alphabet in “printing,” not cursive, and “Vista” looks so much like those letters we had to copy, precisely, in the early 1950s.
So there you have it folks. You made a good choice for you in 2007, but I thought you all might enjoy a reflection from the past.
Go Orange (Element). Amazing success story in five short years.
